Lisa, this is all so exciting and amazing and I am so happy for you. You have been so patient as you have waited for this moment to arrive. Now you have gotten me thinking about what are my dreams and if I can reach out and get them. When I was young I had so many and managed to fulfill lots of them. Now that I am middle-aged with three teenagers, I feel like i am often treading water desperately just to keep afloat — but that is a bad way to look at life. Now you’ve inspired me to dream. Thank you.
The place looks wonderful and it will be so exciting fixing it up.
I like larger photos!
Un abbraccio, Trisha
Big big big images Lisa, just like your heart. How wonderful to see you there. I am so happy for you, and proud. Have you stopped pinching yourself yet? Hugs and lots of love, Janine x
Lisa, I love the larger size photos. The kids look beautiful and soooo happy! I look forward to whatever is next with you guys! I just don’t know where you find the time, I envy you, “Superwoman!” 🙂
Oh I wish I was superwoman, I guess we never see our own strengths x Even I never know what is next for us, I was planning for a nice reno in Liguria (whipping down to the coast on my vespa all with Italian flair) and here I am back in Gambasca waiting to move to Bobbio and start a reno of an ancient borgata. The house in Veravo needs to wait till we raise some funds. We want to turn it into a community project so who knows what is next LOL xxx
Yep it’s about time I got professional, just working out where to start. I find myself easily distracted so think the first step is to plan out my time and get writing. sending love x
Lisa, I love the bigger photos!! I had smaller photos on my blog for the longest time and now I look back and wonder why. Just look at your gorgeous children…all the better to see their sweet faces and warm smiles. And please don’t hesitate to write more too. You are telling us a story that we all really want to hear!! Trust me, you are wasting no one’s time. 🙂
Oh I just love your photos and I agree no idea why I started with such small images. And thank you for that reassurance about the writing, you just gave me a gift beyond measure xxx
love lisa x
Wishing you all the very best for your big move. I know that following what is in your heart, is so important and you will look back on this and know you made the right decision, even though I am sure you already know that. Keep up the posts on how things are going for your wonderful family. The children have grown up so much and they are just gorgeous. Maybe if we are in your part of the world one day, I might pop in for a coffee in your beatiful new home. Fran
Thank you so much for that encouragement Fran, I will get stuck into the posts and have so much to share I don’t know where to start. I’d love to have that coffee with you xxx
ciao lisa
Ciao Lisa! Images look beautiful. I like the size–they’re crisp and closer to us. Not sure what the post box is after the Like button, though. I entered this message, but only my icon shows up. Take a look and see what happened. The kids look SO happy! xoxo. Nina.
Hmmm not sure so I’ll take a look thanks for letting me know Nina. Both kids are enjoying the new life although we had a few tears from Carina who wanted to go home after listening to a song on her ipod, turned out is was one that played in the car last time she saw a friend in Australia. xxx
It is devine Corrina, such a huge change for all of us but we are slowly adjusting. I love seeing our kids outside and wearing themselves out without computers and TV. x
Love the last photo of your two gorgeous babies (children ~ gosh they sure look like they have grown up heaps since we last seen them!)
So good to see their smiles xxx
The image of the kids looks fine to me…..don’t know how much larger you could get. Perhaps others may only see it on a smaller screen, cell phone, etc.

well I am totally convinced and thank you for your help! xx
Lovely pictures. What I wouldn’t give for an ancient stone barn….the next best thing is enjoying it vicariously!
Ciao, Mary Jo
I hope you’re enjoying Mary Jo, sending some ancient stone barn love your way! x
